Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (hereinafter “Terms”) govern the use of the VRChat photo management application “Virtual Snap Archive” (hereinafter “the App” or “VSA”) provided by FefaEther (hereinafter “the Operator”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

The App is a desktop application designed for managing, adding metadata to, and organizing photos taken in VRChat. Key features include:

The App is available to users of all ages without restriction. However, if a minor uses the App, parental or guardian consent is recommended.

4. Accounts

Account registration is not required to use the basic features of the App. Some features (such as cloud integration) may require account registration in the future, but this will be optional.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 App Rights

All intellectual property rights in the App and its contents (including source code, design, logos, icons, etc.) belong to the Operator. The App is not open source.

5.2 User Content Rights

Copyrights in photos and data managed through the App belong to the users themselves. The Operator does not claim any rights to user content.

6. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited when using the App:

  1. Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, reverse engineering, or analyzing the source code of the App
  2. Unauthorized Modification: Modifying, altering, or creating derivative works of the App
  3. Commercial Use: Using the App for commercial purposes without prior written permission from the Operator
  4. Redistribution: Redistributing the App to third parties without permission from the Operator
  5. Unauthorized Access: Attempting to circumvent or disable security features of the App
  6. Illegal Activities: Using the App for any illegal purpose
  7. Rights Infringement: Infringing on the copyrights, privacy rights, or other rights of third parties
  8. Impersonation: Impersonating the Operator or official representatives of the App

7. Disclaimers

7.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is.” The Operator makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the App.

7.2 Relationship with VRChat

The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially related to VRChat Inc. “VRChat” is a trademark of VRChat Inc.

7.3 Data Loss

The Operator assumes no responsibility for any loss, corruption, or deletion of data arising from the use of the App. We strongly recommend regular backups of important data.

7.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.

8. Service Changes and Termination

The Operator reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate the App’s features without prior notice.

9. Changes to Terms

The Operator may modify these Terms as necessary. Significant changes will be communicated through in-app notifications or release notes during updates. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.

11. Language

These Terms are prepared in both Japanese and English. In case of any discrepancy between the two language versions, the Japanese version shall prevail.
